Super League Basketball have announced the official formats and schedules for the 2025/26 Trophy and Cup competitions.
In the Trophy, Manchester will face Cheshire Phoenix at home on Friday 7th November (7.30pm tip) and Leicester Riders away on Sunday 14th December - 3pm. Tickets are now on sale for the Cheshire home game!
The Trophy
9 teams split into 3 geographical groups:
- Group 1: Caledonia, Newcastle, Sheffield
- Group 2: Manchester, Cheshire, Leicester
- Group 3: Bristol, London, Surrey
Teams play each other once in their group (2 games per team). Group winners plus the best runner-up advance to the two-legged Semi-Finals.
Key Dates:
Group Stages: 7–9 November & 12–14 December 2025
Semi-Finals: 2–4 January 2026
Final: Sunday 1 February 2026 @ Utilita Arena Birmingham
The Trophy Final will take place at the Utilita Arena Birmingham, a fitting stage for one of the sport’s showpiece occasions. Tickets are available now via the Super League Basketball website and AXS.
The Cup
Top 7 teams from the 2024/25 Championship go straight into the Quarter Finals.
Bottom 2 teams play a single-leg Qualifying Game for the final spot.
Quarter Finals drawn openly, with up to four clubs able to guarantee a home tie.
Semi-Finals played over two legs.
Key Dates:

Quarter Finals: 23–25 January 2026
Semi-Finals: 13–15 February 2026
Final: Sunday 22 March 2026 @ AO Arena Manchester
The Cup Final will be staged at the AO Arena Manchester, one of the country’s premier indoor venues, for what promises to be a highlight of the season. Tickets are available now via the Super League Basketball website and AXS.
