Manchester Basketball have signed forward Ella O'Donnell to the 2026-27 roster.

Ella comes to bolster the MCR roster as a first-year forward after a standout senior season at Quinnipiac University, where she averaged 11.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game in 2025-26, leading the team in both rebounds and assists. That season she earned All-MAAC First Team honours and shot a team-best 49.5% from the floor, while also being named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.

Ella commented on signing with Manchester "I’m really excited to play with Manchester this season. I'm excited to grow and learn from some experienced players and coaching staff and have a good season."

O'Donnell's collegiate career saw her finish second on the team in scoring with 375 points and record six double-doubles in her senior year, following a junior campaign in which she pulled down 147 rebounds - third-most on the team. The 6'3 forward from Shankill, Ireland also brings extensive international experience, having represented the Irish senior women's national team since making her debut at just 18 years old in 2022, alongside multiple youth international tournaments across the U16, U18 and U20 levels.
