The Basketball Champions League Qualification rounds begin on Monday when Manchester face German side Würzburg Baskets.

Manchester will be pitted against a familiar face in shooting guard Max Jones, Jones made the move to Würzburg this summer after spending rookie year in Manchester last season.

Also in Bulgaria will be our ENBL final rivals Dziki Warszawa who have two former MCR players, Tim Adetukasi and Makai Ashton-Langford. Making up a former Manchester quartet in the qualifiers will be guard Ian Dubose who now plays for Bakken Bears, facing our pre-season opponents Landstede Hammers in their qualifier.

British basketball fans will be familiar with many faces in the tournament including GB Internationals Dan Akin (play for Romanian side Oradea) and guard Jelani Watson-Gayle who has recently signed for Patrioti Levice alongside former Flyer Tevin Olison.

BK Opava have former SLB player Ethan Chargois in the big spot while former Leicester star Charles Thompson lines up alongside Max Jones at Würzburg. The Riders connection doesn't stop there with x2 league MVP Geno Crandall playing for Benfica and Caleb Asberry playing for VEF Riga.
