Manchester Basketball have announced the signing of American Jordan Johnson to the 2025-26 roster.
Guard Johnson, who spent his first pro season at Prizreni in Kosovo, spent his college career at Hinds CC, Denver and latterly the University of New Orleans. At the Privateers 'Popi' started 27 games in his first season averaging 18pts a game in 33.6 minutes, in his senior year he played 32 games averaging 21.3 pts in 35.8 minutes.
Jordan shot a career-high 39 points in the Southland Conference opener against HCU. Johnson would go on to leave a legacy at New Orleans with the most three-pointers (93) in a single season in program history.
"Jordan is a super talented guard, we are delighted to get him to Manchester," reflected Dominique Allen.
"He's a scoring threat who excelled in college and brings with him experience from playing in Kosovo last season."
"We can't wait to see JJ in Manchester colours."
Johnson is named as Manchester's tenth addition to the 2025-26 roster, with the team due to report for the start of pre-season later this month.
"I am glad to be a part of this organisation. I can’t wait to get there and get started, playing in front of the MCR fans," commented Jordan.
