Shaw Back In Manchester

Manchester Basketball have recruited Great Britain centre Hannah Shaw as their second signing ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Having played for both Manchester Mystics and Manchester Giants, Shaw will be a familiar face to fans in the North West.

“I’m really looking forward to the new era for Manchester Basketball,” commented Hannah. “I thought last season would be my last at this level but I love what I’m seeing with the new franchise.”

“I’m super excited about the club, the new direction and for us to be competitive!"

The 6’4” star has also played in the WBBL for Sheffield Hatters, where she spent two seasons, and Nottingham Wildcats where she started as a 13 year-old. After winning two regular season titles with Wildcats, she also took her talents to Europe.

Shaw was a part of Team Englands’ silver winning team from the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. She also represented Great Britain at FIBA Eurobasket in 2019.
