Pirttinen added to roster!

Manchester Basketball sign Finnish International Veera Pirttinen to the 2025-26 roster.

The 5'11" guard, played in the Germany last season for TK Hannover Luchse having featured in the Finnish Korisliiga for PeKa, where she averaged 12.9ppg in 22 appearances. As well as Germany and Finland, Veera has experience playing in Latvia, Slovakia, and Spain.

"Veera brings a lot of experience to our squad and can play in numerous positions," commented Dominique Allen. "We are excited to strengthen the roster with her signing and looking forward to seeing her perform for us in the SLB."

"I’m happy to join the team! I hope I can bring my experience and effort to help us perform at our best", commented Veera.  

"It seems like we have a great group of people so I’m excited to see what we can achieve on the court!"

Pirttinen represented Finland at the World University Games in Chengdu (China) winning a Bronze medal. She will be in the squad travelling to Nottingham this weekend to face the Wildcats.
