Manchester-born guard Nicolette Fairley has returned for a second season at Manchester Basketball after signing a new deal ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The Great Britain senior international represented MCR last season and the experienced GB International guard will be back for year two alongside Hannah Shaw and Eva Karasaite who also return. Nicolette has a wealth of experience having represented Manchester Met Mystics, Sheffield Hatters and Durham Palatinates in the then WBBL, as well as a spell in Spain's top flight with Ferrol.
"We are happy to have a core group of players from last year returning," commented Dominique Allen, who won a silver medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games alongside Fairley.
"Nicolette is a fantastic role model on and off court and her knowledge will be invaluable to our younger players."
"I am excited to re-sign for Manchester this year. With the team we have, I believe we can build on the success from last year," reflected Nicolette. "We already have great cohesion off the court and can’t wait to play our first game on Sunday."
Fairley will be in action this Sunday as Manchester host Caledonia Gladiators in the SLB Trophy - tickets available here.
