Manchester Basketball are delighted to announce the addition of Antoine Broxsie as an Assistant Coach to the 2025-26 men’s coaching staff, joining Matt Otten and Matt Pitkin on the sidelines.

Tampa, Florida-native Broxsie arrives with a wealth of experience, coaching in the NBA, NBA G-League, CEBL, and across Asia.

Antoine started his coaching career in the far east, coaching in China and Thailand. Broxsie returned to the US to take up a player development role for theMemphis Grizzlies, assisting at the NBA G-League Memphis Hustle. Broxsie would join the Houston Rockets in 2019, joining the staff at Rio Grande Valley Vipers as a Player Development Coach.

In 2021 Antoine was hired by Cleveland Cavaliers as a Player Development Coach before taking up a role as player development/assistant defensive coordinator in 2023. Broxsie also assisted for Cleveland Charge in the NBA G-League for the 2024-25 season.

He took charge of Brampton Honey Badgers in the CEBL in Canada in 2022, where he would coach Manchester sharp-shooter Cody John.  

Antoine’s playing career began at the University of Minnesota in the Big 10, followed by Oklahoma State in the Big 12.  His pro career spanned the globe over fifteen years and included multiple Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards.

“Antoine brings with him a great skillset and wide range of experiences that will only help our knowledge base,” commented General Manager Dominique Allen.
“We’re really happy to have him on board to support Matt and the team.”

Co-Owner Ben Pierson added, “Coach Broxsie’s strong track record in player development will have an immediate impact.  We want our players to improve on and off the court not just for our benefit, but for their own careers.  We also want to grow our impact in the community and academy levels – with Coach Otten, Coach Pitkin, and now Coach Broxsie, we have great pieces in place to do this.”

Broxsie, who will link-up with the team this week ahead of the pre-season trip to Switzerland, commented:

“This is a very exciting time for Manchester Basketball and I’m happy to be apart of it. I’ve always been intrigued with European basketball and the vast talent that Europe has to offer. I have had so many friends speak about the great time I will have in Manchester and I am really looking forward to being engulfed in the city and all that it has to offer with its people and culture. This is going to be an amazing experience and year.”

Broxsie is a dual United States & Dominican Republic citizen. Antoine speaks fluent English, fluent Spanish, and conversational Chinese and Japanese.  Welcome to Manchester, Coach Broxsie!
