Maaja Bratka added to Manchester roster

Estonian forward/centre Maaja Bratka has signed for Manchester Basketball for the 2025-26 season.

Maaja will be a familiar name to British basketball fans after starting her professional career with Leicester Riders. The Estonian international has played across Europe in France, Germany and Italy - last season she played in Spain for Recoletas Zamora.

"Maaja is a great signing for the franchise," commented Dominique Allen. "Maaja brings experience and size to the team. Having played in the UK before and Internationally she will be a fantastic addition to the roster."

Reflecting on signing for Manchester Maaja commented: "I'm really excited to join Manchester, I'm especially looking forward to meeting everyone and also, seeing a lot of familiar faces!"
