Manchester Basketball have signed American big Charlie Williams to the 2026-27 roster.

6’10” centre Williams, who represented Lipscomb University in Nashville last season, appeared in all 32 games, totalling 324 points, 82 rebounds and 73 assists.

Charlie had a season-high 27 points at FGCU in January, shooting 8-for-11 from the field, 4-for-4 on 3-pointers and 7-for-8 from the line.

“I am beyond blessed to be able to start my professional basketball career for Manchester,” commented Williams.

“I’ve heard nothing but great things about not only the city of Manchester but the people as well. I fully believe in the vision Coach Otten has for the club. I am looking to help build off last year’s season, and I couldn’t be more excited to do so!”

Head Coach Matthew Otten commented: “Signing Charlie Williams is a big that gives us a ‘point guard in the paint’ presence. Watching his college career he played as a high level facilitator on a winning program and he was a player that could step out and hit shots when the team needed.  Having a big that can see the floor and stretch the floor will help our offensive flow.”
