Irish International Fitzpatrick Signs For Manchester
Ireland International guard Maura Fitzpatrick has signed for Manchester Basketball for the 2024-25 season.
The American-born guard holds an Irish passport who she represented most recently in the European Championship qualifier games.
“The opportunity to play in Manchester is super exciting,” commented Fitzpatrick.
“I’m really looking forward to playing under the coaches along with the rest of my teammates. We have a lot of talent so I have high hopes for the season.”
Maura had a stellar college career having studied at Marist. Post-college Maura turned professional, last season playing for BC Pharmaserv Marburg in the women’s first division in Germany.
Fitzpatrick has also played in Germany for ASC Theresianum Mainz and Bamberg, Wetterbygden in Sweden and for Gloucester City Queens in the top British league.
