Kaiyem Cleary led the team with 17 points and 5 rebounds, backed by 16 and 8 from Tim Adetukasi. Jordan Johnson also impressed off the bench to log 15 points and 7 assists.
Manchester were lights out from three, going 14-26 from behind the arc, making triples at a 53% rate. Cleary, Adetukasi and Johnson all connected from deep three times on the night as Manchetser led from the front on the road.
They shot out of the gates to a hot start, taking an 11-point lead into the second quarter. The visitors led by as many as 13 in the first after a triple from Kyle Carey. But a spirited comeback meant the Flyers led at the half.
9 straight points at the start of the third quarter from Max Jones rebuilt Manchester’s advantage, which they would hold onto until the final buzzer.
Bristol did cut it to one as the fourth got underway, but Manchester’s response made it a double-digit affair, and got the win over the line. 15 points and 8 rebounds from Owen McCormack led the hosts.
The win improves Manchester to 5-4 in the SLB Championship.
Manchester are in Trophy action next, as they head to the East Midlands to take on the Leicester Riders on Sunday, December 14. They return home on Tuesday, December 16, taking on Czech side BK Opava at 7 pm at the National Basketball Performance Centre for ENBL action.
