New signing Kaiyem Cleary has become the first Manchester player to be called up to the men's senior Great Britain team in franchise history.
Cleary has been named in the Great Britain training squad for their preparation tour ahead of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025.
With the tournament set to tip-off for Great Britain on 27 August, against Lithuania, Great Britain will face a host of top European sides as part of their training camp as they ramp up towards the competition.
GB travel to France to play in Pau on 8th August before heading to Ostend to face Belgium (15 Aug), Bosnia & Herzegovina (16 Aug) and Slovenia (19 Aug). Finally GB travel to Estonia on 22 August.
Cleary who previously played for GB in 2024 against South Sudan in London follows on from Junior Madut who represented South Sudan whilst in MCR colours. Team physiotherapist Toby Welch will also be part of the GB set-up... congrats Kaiyem and Toby from all at MCR!
