
Ben Pierson is the owner of Manchester Basketball and Chief Investment Officer for the Sherwood Family Office. Ben is responsible all aspects of the investment portfolio and operations.
Prior to joining the Sherwood family, he worked in the Alternative Investment Division, a $25+ billion-dollar sovereign wealth fund. While at Wafra, Mr. Pierson sat on AID’s Investment Committee and helped manage all asset classes including hedge funds, public equity, private equity, venture capital, real estate, real assets, secondary markets, strategic partnerships, and alternative finance. Prior to Wafra, Mr. Pierson spent over ten years as an investment professional at fund of hedge funds Achstone Partners and Cross Shore Capital. Mr. Pierson earned his BA from Hamilton College and his MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management.

Recently appointed as the first Chief Executive Officer of Manchester Basketball, Claire brings more than 20-years of experience across the sports industry. Her background includes leading marketing for global brands including Brooks Sports and ASICS, along with board-level roles in both Rugby Union and Rugby League, giving her a broad cross-sport insight. Since her appointment, Claire has played a key role in creating the club’s long-term strategy, with a focus on sustainable growth, brand development and organisational performance. Known for her collaborative leadership style and positive energy, she brings a strategic, people-led approach to growth in sport.

Dominique Allen brings a rare blend of elite playing pedigree and sharp operational leadership to Manchester Basketball. A London 2012 Olympian and 2018 Commonwealth Games silver medallist, Dominique represented Great Britain at every level from U14 through to senior international basketball. Dominique's professional playing career took her across many European countries - including spells in Italy, France, the Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Romania and Sweden - before two stints with Manchester Mystics, the second of which included a Cup Final MVP award.
Since stepping off the court, Dominique has built an equally impressive career in basketball administration, leading operations for Manchester Giants before taking the helm at Manchester Basketball as General Manager and Head of Operations. Dominique also serves as Head of Basketball for the Great Britain Women's Senior Team.
With experience across club management, international governance with FIBA, and major event delivery with Team GB, Dominique is dedicated to growing the game in Manchester.

Peter is the Head of Media for Manchester Basketball having joined the club during its inception, having previously spent 11 years at Leicester Riders as their Head of Marketing.
Peter is also the CEO of branding & marketing consultancy 5or6 Ltd, who consult for Loughborough Sport (Loughborough University), Bolton Wanderers FC, St Andrews and elite track & field training environment ALTIS (Phoenix, USA) where he was the brand lead for eight years. Peter is also a visiting lecturer in branding at Loughborough Design School, Loughborough University having gained his doctorate from the same institution in design. Served as an advisory board member on marketing for Loughborough Lightning Netball franchise and a charity helping to support young athletes.
Worked on branding with professional athletes Luol Deng, Usain Bolt, Christian Coleman, Marcos Alonso, Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake and Isaiah Stewart.
