Keon Thompson, the 6'1 guard from Merrillville, Indiana, split his college career between two programmes, spending two years at Massachusetts Minutemen (2022-2024) before moving on to Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks for his final two seasons (2024-2026). Thompson averaged 18.1ppg, 4.8rpg and 4.4apg with a season high of 32 points. His standout senior year earned him the conference's Player of the Week award five times, along with Southland First Team All-Conference and 2025-26 Southland Men's Basketball Player of the Year honours, before joining Manchester for the 2026-2027 season.
