MCR X MOBO Awards collab night performer announcement

Manchester Basketball are delighted to announce former MOBO nominee & platinum selling artist Melissa Steel will perform a MOBO-worthy special half-time performance at our MOBO Awards collab night game (with a VERY special surprise guest!).

Northern powerhouse and R&B sensation Melissa, best known for her chart success with platinum selling single “I Loved You” and silver certified "Kisses For Breakfast" ft Popcaan, is an esteemed former MOBO Best Newcomer nominee.

Making her long awaited comeback this year, Melissa's soulful vocals and vibrant stage presence will be lighting up the arena and she will be joined LIVE on court by a VERY special guest (a UK rap legend & street anthem King) to perform a brand new track at half-time 👀

Having previously collaborated with internationally recognised artists and producers, including Popcaan, Wizkid, Beenie Man, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Wretch 32, as well as touring with global popstar Ariana Grande, we are honoured to have her bring the MOBO magic to our half-time show.

You won't want to miss this!

Manchester Basketball and the MOBO Awards are teaming up for a special Game on Tuesday 10 March 2026, bringing sport, music and culture together for one unforgettable night.
