Manchester-born guard Charli Wroe has returned home to her city as she becomes coach Oli Parr’s latest signing.

The former Mystics and Hatters youth player has been across the pond most recently representing the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. The U18 Great Britain international will be with MCR for the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

‘I’m so excited to be back playing for my home city & grateful for the opportunity to rejoin such a great club,’ commented Charli. ‘I can’t wait for the rest of this season & my future in the program.’

Head Coach Oli Parr commented: ‘It's such a great opportunity to add Charli to the group, it’s going to be fun seeing her back in Manchester. The energy she brings when she plays is infectious.’

Charli looks set to make her MCR debut this weekend versus Cardiff Met Archers.
