Manchester Basketball have signed British centre Maya Price to the 2026-27 roster.

A EuroCup winner and a familiar face in the SLB, Price has played previously for both London Lions and Caledonia Gladiators. The 6’2" centre has spent last season in Australia playing for SC Phoenix where she averaged 14.1ppg and 6.9 rpg in 31 games.  

“I’m really excited to be joining Manchester for this upcoming season. It’s a club with big ambitions, so I’m looking forward to getting to work with the team and coaching staff. I can’t wait to get started and have a great season together,” reflected Maya.

Maya, a GB International, spent three years at Eckerd College, averaging 14.4 points, 7 boards and 2.3 blocks per game, and being name SSC player of the year. Price joined the London Lions after college, and was part of the 2023/24 season Eurocup winning squad. Maya signed for Caledonia Gladiators in 2024/25, and spent last season in Australia for SC Phoenix.

Head coach Oli Parr shared an exciting message on Maya's joining "I'm excited to see Maya Price back in the league. Coming off a great season, we’re keen to see what we can achieve this year together".
