Manchester Basketball are to debut their MCR bus at the REPTHECITY game this Friday (30 January) from 6pm, ahead of our SLB game with Bristol Flyers.
The collaboration with Streetbus, aims to bring basketball to the city of Manchester. Fans will be able to play against our very own social host Mordzs outside of NBPC.
It forms part of a special Manchester celebration evening that sees the club celebrate all things Manchester, bringing the city together for Mancunian tunes, a high-flying slam dunk contest and special edition 0161 Castore kit!
"Our partnership with Streetbus is one we’re really excited for, it’s a fun experience that blends basketball, music and gaming culture together - we’re the only sport that can do that authentically, it’s part of the basketball DNA, and bringing people together is part of ours," commented CEO Claire Bradbury.
"Connecting the community, creating a place to belong, that’s the kind of club we want to be at Manchester Basketball and this activation is one of our steps towards achieving that ambition. I’m looking forward to seeing the bus in action."
