Manchester Basketball have re-signed Finnish guard Veera Pirttinen to the 2026-27 roster.

Veera re-joins the roster for her 2nd year after a stellar first year with Manchester, finishing the season with 137 points and 52 rebounds.

Last season, Pirttinen played an essential piece in the team, averaging 9.6 points across 14 appearances. Before her time in Manchester, the Finnish guard played in Germany for TK Hannover and in Finland for PeKa, alongside stints in Latvia, Slovakia, and Spain. Veera has also most recently represented Finland in the 2025 FIBA Women's EuroBasket Qualifiers, and won bronze for her nation at the World University Games in Chengdu (China) in 2023.

Head Coach Oli Parr commented "Looking forward to building on what we achieved last year with Veera, another returning player that is going to add a lot to value on both ends of the floor."
