Junior Madut has been called up to the South Sudan National team for the Afrobasket 2025 Qualifiers in Dakar, Senegal.

Junior, who has already represented his country several times, becomes the first player in the new franchise to earn International honours.

South Sudan play three games during the window against Morocco (Fri 22 Nov), Mali (Sat 23 Nov) and Congo (Sun 24 Nov).

Club physio Toby Welch will also be joining up with the Great Britain team this week as they prepare to play Greece on Thursday.
