Manchester Basketball can confirm that Kaiyem Cleary will miss the remainder of the 2025/26 season having sustained a knee injury in our February game with Surrey 89ers.
Kaiyem will remain with the club to complete his rehabilitation, as our performance team work closely with medical specialists to support him throughout his treatment and recovery. MCR remain fully committed to ensuring he has the comprehensive care required to return to the court in the strongest possible condition.
Our kid from Gorton returned home to Manchester this past summer and has been a key player in Matthew Otten’s side this season, contributing effectively during games while also supporting the team culture off the court.
On behalf of everyone at the club, we wish Kaiyem a full and healthy recovery.
