Game report: Nottingham Wildcats 80-85 Manchester

Manchester win a close game away in Nottingham 85-80.

Davida Dale once again starred for Manchester as she recorded a double-double with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 3 steals.

Danni Williams also impressed for Manchester with a double-double of her own, 20 points and 14 rebounds in the game.

For Nottingham it was Claire Jacobs who stood out, totalling 31 points for the Wildcats.

Manchester started the game on top as they ended the first quarter with a single digit lead. They lead 29-21.

Manchester continued to have the momentum in the second quarter. They extended their lead to 14 points. The players went into halftime with Manchester leading 48-34.

In the third quarter the teams went bucket for bucket and the lead remained the same for Manchester. The teams headed into the final quarter with Manchester leading 67-53.

Manchester were able to keep Nottingham Wildcats at an arms length in the final quarter as they saw out the remaining time left in the game. Manchester ended the game as 85-80 victors.

Manchester are back in action on Saturday February 1 as they head to London to take on the London Lions.
