Max Jones went off for an incredible 31-point performance, leading Manchester to its third ENBL win of the season. He hit seven threes, exploding from behind the arc, and shot 12-16 from the field on the night.

That was emblematic of Manchester’s shooting night. The hosts hit 48% of their threes, blowing their opponents out of the water with their accuracy from range.

The third quarter was when Manchester found real separation in the scoreline after taking a four-point lead into the half. Kaiyem Cleary hit back-to-back triples to get the second half underway.

They piled on 29 points in the third quarter to build a double-digit advantage, then added another 29 in the fourth, led by 9 points from Jones.

Duke Shelton concluded the host’s offensive action with his first points in Manchester after signing last week, putting an exclamation point on an emphatic victory by putting his new team up 30.

Manchester improved to 3-2 in the ENBL.

Manchester remains at home for their next matchup, taking on the Cheshire Phoenix in the Super League Basketball Championship on Friday, November 21. The game starts at 7:30 pm at the National Basketball Performance Centre.
