Manchester make it two in two after defeating Newcastle Eagles 89-77.

Isaih Moore had a big impact for Manchester making 22 points 9 rebounds and 3 steals. DJ Mitchell once again made impressed for Manchester as he recorded 22 points 12 rebounds making 3 three-pointers in the game.

For Newcastle Seneca Knight was most impressive as he made 17 points and 4 rebounds.

Manchester started off the big the better of the two teams as they took a lead in the first quarter. They finished with a lead of 30-17.

Manchester continued their good momentum and they went into the half with a lead of 47-38.

Newcastle tried their best to keep up with Manchester and they did so in the third quarter reducing Manchester’s lead to six points. Manchester headed into the final quarter with a lead of 67-61.

Cody John started the final quarter by draining a three-pointer for Manchester. Isaih Moore also made a three-pointer in the quarter showing his versatility on all spots on the floor being crucial for Manchester’s success. Manchester outscored Newcastle by six points in the final quarter as they surged to victory. Ali Ali's corner three proving the decisive dagger to give Manchester the game by a margin of 12 points, 89-77.

Manchester will look to continue their good form as they return to the National Basketball Performance Centre on Sunday November 3 as they face London Lions. Tickets are available at just £10.
