Despite a strong first half outing Manchester fall to overtime defeat against Bristol Flyers.

For Manchester Nathan Cayo impressed recording 20 points and 6 rebounds. DJ Mitchell recorded a double-double having 15 points and 12 rebounds. For Bristol Flyers Evan Walshe led the way with 22 points 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

Manchester started the game on the front foot. After a dominant first quarter they had a 19-11 lead over Bristol Flyers.

This continued into the second quarter as Manchester gained a 14 point lead Bristol, with the score at 44-30 in Manchester’s favour.

In the third quarter Bristol Flyers replied to Manchester’s first half dominance and took a one point lead in the game. The teams went into the final quarter with the score at 58-57 in Bristol Flyers favour.

The teams were even in the fourth quarter. Isaih Moore tied the game up with 10 seconds left on the clock to force overtime with the score at 79-79.

Despite a strong effort all game from Manchester, Bristol Flyers we’re able to take the game away in overtime. They outscored Manchester by seven points as they went on to win the game 92-85.

Manchester are back in action on Friday November 29 as they travel to Leicester to face Leicester Riders.
