Despite a strong fourth quarter Manchester fall to a 77-89 defeat in the Super League Basketball Trophy.

DJ Mitchell recorded 12 points 6 rebounds and 4 assists for Manchester in a hard fought battle. Nathan Cayo also impressed for Manchester scoring 13 points.

It was Rodney Chatman III who impressed for Sheffield Sharks as he recorded 21 points 6 rebounds 6 assists alongside 6 steals. As well as this Drake Jeffries scored 21 points for the hosts making six three-pointers.

Going into the final quarter trailing 50-73 Manchester fought hard to reduce the deficit. Nicholas Lewis and Isaih Moore combined to score an alley oop, something which is becoming a trademark between the duo. It was Cody John who impressed for Manchester in the fourth quarter to go along with an assist and a steal. Manchester outscored Sheffield Sharks by 11 points in the final quarter as they battled to the end of the game. Despite this Manchester would fall to a 77-89 defeat to Sheffield Sharks.
