Manchester make it five wins in a row as they win 76-72 against Sheffield Sharks.

Elijah Ifejeh was the player of the game as he recorded a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.

DJ Mitchell also impressed recording a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds for Manchester.

Rodney Chatman III impressed for Sheffield Sharks recording 23 points and 7 rebounds.

Manchester started the game on the front foot as they were able to take a 10 point lead in the first quarter of the game. They lead 25-15 at the end of the first.

Manchester continued with the upper hand in the second quarter as they added onto their lead. They went into halftime leading 42-26.

Despite Sheffield Sharks making a spirited comeback in the third quarter, Manchester’s fist half dominance allowed they to retain a lead. They went into the final quarter leading 52-45.

In the final quarter Manchester were able to keep Sheffield Sharks at an arms length. Manchester ended the game a 76-72 victors.

Manchester are back in action on Sunday January 5 as they head to Cheshire to take on the Cheshire Phoenix.
