Manchester fall short against Leicester Riders 74-87.

Makai Ashton-Langford impressed for Manchester as he recorded 21 points 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

For Leicester Riders Zach Jackson impressed as he recorded 21 points 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

It was an even contest in the first quarter which Leicester Riders came out with a slim lead. They lead 32-27 at the end of the first quarter.

Leicester Riders had the better of the momentum in the second quarter and they were able to extend their lead. The teams went into halftime with Leicester Riders leading 49-40.

Manchester fought hard in the third quarter to get themselves back in the game. They were able to reduce Leicester Riders lead to seven points. The teams headed into the final quarter with Leicester Riders leading 71-64.

Despite Manchester’s best efforts they were unable to force themselves back in the game in the final quarter. Leicester Riders ended the game as 87-74 victors.

Manchester are back in action on Wednesday February 26 as they head south to face London Lions.
