Manchester fall to defeat 84-73 against Oaklands Wolves.

Danni Williams impressed for Manchester as she recorded a double-double. They had 20 points 10 rebounds and 3 steals in the game.

For Oaklands Wolves Tayjanna McGhee- Pleasant starred. They had 19 points and 4 rebounds in the game.

After the first quarter Oaklands Wolves had the momentum. They ended the quarter they ended it with a 29-23 lead.

Despite Manchester’s effort, Oaklands Wolves continued to have the momentum in the second quarter. The teams went into halftime with Oaklands Wolves leading 56-37.

The trend continued in the third quarter and Oaklands Wolves were able to extend their lead. The teams headed into the final quarter 75-50 in Oaklands Wolves’ favour.

Manchester clawed back some momentum in the final quarter. They were able to reduce the deficit to just 9 points. However the game ended with Oaklands Wolves 83-74 victors.

Manchester will look to bounce back when they are back in action on Sunday December 19 as they head to the Midlands to face Nottingham Wildcats.
