Game Report: Manchester 70-80 Sheffield Sharks

Manchester fall short against Sheffield Sharks as the visitors take a 70-80 victory.

Nathan Cayo once again impressed for Manchester. He recorded 21 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Makai Ashton-Langford also had a strong performance as he recorded 15 points.

For Sheffield Sharks it was Prentiss Nixon who starred as he recorded 21 points 5 rebounds and 4 steals.

Sheffield Sharks started the game on the front foot and were able to build an early lead. They ended the first quarter leading Manchester 25-17.

Manchester had the better momentum in the second quarter. They were able to reduce the deficit to just two points. The teams went into halftime with Sheffield Sharks leading 41-39.

Sheffield Sharks were able regain the momentum in the third quarter. They built up a lead of 18 points. The teams headed into the final quarter with Sheffield leading 66-48.

Manchester responded positively in the final quarter of the game. They were able to reduce the deficit to 10 points. However, it was Sheffield who took home the 80-70 victory.

Manchester will look to bounce back on Friday December 13 as they head south to face Surrey 89ers.
