Manchester make it three wins in a row as they run out comfortable victors against local rivals Cheshire Phoenix.

Makai Ashton-Langford was CultureBox Player of the Game as he recorded a double-double. He had 19 points 5 rebounds and 12 assists.

Junior Madut also impressed for Manchester recording 25 points 4 rebounds and 7 assists.

For Cheshire Phoenix Cameron Holden impressed as he recorded 26 points 4 rebounds and 7 assists.

Manchester came out of the first quarter with a lead despite it being a tight first 10 minutes between the two sides. Manchester had a 26-20 lead.

Manchester were able to keep ahold of their six point lead in the second quarter as the two teams traded buckets. Manchester went into halftime with a 46-40 lead.

After a dominant third quarter from Manchester they were able to stretch open their lead. They went into the final quarter leading 78-63.

Manchester didn’t take their foot off the accelerator in the final quarter and opened up a bigger lead. They ended the game as 106-86 victors.

Manchester are back in action on Friday December 27 as they travel to Scotland to take on Caledonia Gladiators.
