Manchester fall short 76-89 on the road in Leicester despite a strong start to the game.

Elijah Ifejeh impressed for Manchester as he recorded 12 points and 8 rebounds in the game.

Riley Abercrombie starred for Leicester Riders as he made the difference in the game. He ended the game with 15 points 8 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Manchester started the game positively and were able to end the first quarter with a lead. They lead 21-13 at the end of the first.

Manchester continued this momentum in the second quarter and went into halftime with the lead. It was 38-35 in favour of Manchester after 20 minutes.

Leicester Riders were able to gain the momentum of the game in the third quarter and open up a lead. Heading into the final quarter Leicester Riders had a 63-49 lead.

Despite Manchester’s hard work in the fourth quarter, Leicester Riders were able to keep the momentum. Leicester Riders ended the game as 89-76 victors.

Manchester are back in action on Sunday December 12 as they will look to bounce back against Leicester Riders at the National Basketball Performance Centre.
