Cody John will be back in Manchester colours for the 2025-26 season after signing a new deal to keep him in the North-West.
The British-Canadian player excelled under Herman Mandole's tutelage last term and averaged 9.3 pts over 26 games last time out. Cody becomes the third signing of the summer, joining returner Zak Irvin and new signing Kayne Henry on the roster.
"Cody really showed what he could do last season, he's a player that can have a big impact on games for us," commented Dominique Allen.
"We are really happy to have a core returning with Cody joining Zak in the new roster."
The guard is currently playing the CEBL this summer for Winnipeg Sea Bears after transferring from Saskatchewan Rattlers.
"I loved my time in Manchester last season and knew from early that I wanted to come back," commented Cody.
"I settled in the city and enjoyed playing in front of the Manchester fans. We are just getting started!"
Cody graduated from Weber State in 2020 before heading to the Kosovo league to play with Ylli Therande where he averaged 17.4 pts a game. Cody spent the 2022-23 season in Cyprus and also has played for a host of Canadian clubs including three spells with Brampton Honey Badgers, Edmonton Stingers, Ottawa Blackjacks and latterly Saskatchewan Rattlers.
