British forward Kyle Carey has signed for Manchester Basketball, becoming the franchises’ fourth men's signing.
Carey, who has previously played in the British league with London City Royals, Cheshire Phoenix and Surrey Scorchers, joins up with the new franchise ahead of the 2024-25 season.
The 6’6” 27-year old scored 219 in 34 games for the Scorchers in the 2022-23 season. Carey made 52 appearances at Cheshire scoring 187 pts in his first year and 172 in his second.
“‘I’m very thankful for the opportunity,” reflected Carey.
“Manchester is a great city and I can’t wait to get to work with the guys”.
Kyle will suit up in Manchester Basketball colours in front of the home fans against Newcastle Eagles on Sunday 29 September at 3pm. All normal tickets for the Eagles home opener are priced at £10.
