Content Executive

Job Title: Content Executive

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

The Content Executive is an entry level role responsible for the day-to-day output across the Club’s owned media channels, supporting the content team in creating, editing and scheduling content to drive engagement with the Club, connecting with fans and supporting commercial goals.

Men’s (70%):

  • Assist the Head of Media with all media and communications at select games across game- day broadcast, digital, LED and AV
  • Support with media days, press events, press interviews and content capture, building relationships with press stakeholders across verticals, regionals, nationals, lifestyle/H&F
  • Responsibility to manage the monthly content planner and scheduling of content, providing a weekly update to the team to ensure all briefs, player appearances and content creation requirements are covered
  • Support for CRM output, collaborating with the wider team to plan, design and distribute mailers, tracking performance and insights
  • Contribute to monthly content planning and ideation in line with the Club strategy, supporting the content team across non-game day storytelling and content creation
  • Responsibility for the development and growth of the Club’s TikTok channel including creative ideas, content creation, scheduling and reporting
  • Actively research digital trends to influence content strategy and planning
  • Complete a monthly digital performance tracker highlighting insights to inform planning

Women’s (30%):

  • Responsibility for the media and communications of Women’s home game day broadcast, digital and AV including all technical equipment; LED boards, ref-link, scoreboards, clocks
  • Lead on press interviews and content capture for training sessions and game days
  • Responsibility for writing and uploading to the Club website match day reports for all Home and Away games
  • Responsibility for the women’s social media channels creating written, visual and video content to drive followers and engagement in line with the Club strategy
  • Planning, delivery and reporting of content performance for fixtures, training, players and live game days

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

  • Love of sport and enthusiasm for storytelling
  • Knowledge of social-media platforms / algorithms / digital and cultural trends
  • Personable with good communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator / indesign / Premiere Pro
  • Understanding of website platforms and analytics
  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Excellent writing ability

Desirable:

  • Understanding of basketball, player profiles and seasonal / media cycles
  • Videography and photography skills
  • Experience producing content
  • Knowledge of Shopify/eCom
  • Motion graphics skills
  • Familiar with After Effects
